Ford F150 & F250 NON-Rebuildable Replacements

The Ford factory style driveshaft is NON-Rebuildable and from ford can run upwards of $1000.00 There two piece driveshafts have non replaceable hanger bearings (Center support) that is friction welded in place. They can also have staked in u-joints that are typically NON-Replaceable. If any part of the driveshaft fails you are stuck buying a factory driveshaft for around $1000.00  

These driveshafts are 100% non rebuildable and is a complete throw away design. Light gauge tubing and weak friction welds, Does that sound like “BUILT FORD TOUGH” to you ?
